Hi, I am Inge, welcome to my website!

I am a commercial photographer based in New Mexico, passionate about working with brands that value quality, authenticity, creativity and thoughtful visual storytelling.

My college degree was in linguistics and English/German translation, which was really a second choice, compared to my original desire to study graphic design and art. I had several friends who were artists and photographers, who inspired me greatly, even allowing me to play around with their Hasselblad cameras. However, art school was not achievable for me at the time. Instead, after college, I ended up working for several large law firms in a supportive role. A spiritual journey has always been central to my life. Following my daughter's birth, my studies in yoga and meditation led me to open my own yoga studio in the Pacific Northwest, in which I taught for nine years. I connected with many students helping them to achieve their personal wellness goals and find a deeper connection within.

Following a relocation to the high desert mountains of New Mexico, my daughter and I began to document our gluten free lifestyle and adventures in a blog. We developed recipes across a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten free, dairy free, raw, keto, paleo and general holistic nutrition.  Two small gluten free cookbooks documented our successes. Sadly, online interactions and the insatiable public demands for more and more content made us feel overwhelmed and we ended up taking a long break from it.  

After the blog paused, what remained was my love for photography and design. I came to recognize the truth in the phrase “you eat with your eyes." On our blog, engaging photos almost immediately translated into greater engagement and subscriptions. Professional food and product photographers have always understood this basic principal. Our eyes relate to color, design and composition in unique ways. Professional photography makes a huge difference in a client's business success and engagement with the public.

I approach every client relationship with sensitivity, respect, and collaboration and especially enjoy working with holistic brands. My goal is not only to create visually striking images, but to support my clients' vision and brand identity through relevant, beautiful and engaging images.
